Transporting specialized rail equipment from the Port of Baltimore to the Amtrak facility during the hours of 9pm – 4:32am is no easy task. It takes a very key focus on safety and everything that is happening around you. Capturing a move like that on video takes experience and a working knowledge of heavy haul logistics in order to get the shots and stay safe. The process of this logistics video production was arriving on site to the Port of Baltimore in Maryland, capture the loading of the specialized rail equipment to the multi axle trailer, follow the load to its destination while similtanously filming epic shots to show the capability of our client. Once the project cargo arrived to its destination at Amtrak, we then captured the process in which it was disharged from the trailer and placed very carefully on the rails.
